About Chris:

Chris McElwee started in junior high ministry when he was asked to fill in temporarily for the churches junior high pastor after he died during a junior high water ski trip. Yea, really. He agreed if it was temporary. He remained in junior high ministry for 12 years before moving onto another position at his current church.
Chris is now the Local Impact Pastor at Wheaton BIble Church, where he has been on staff for 11 years. Even though he no longer directly pastors junior highers he still loves the ministry and can't wait for his three kids to go into junior high so he can torment them as an overly eager parent.
Chris has an M.Div from Talbot School of Theology.

About Tim:
I would call myself a student-follower of Jesus Christ. I work in junior high ministry at a church in Geneva, IL and am finishing up a Masters program at Wheaton College in Evangelism and Leadership. I am deeply in love with my fiance Ashley who is on her way in discovering her own calling to serve the Church. I love junior high students for their curiosity and imagination. I could not have imagined my life to have gone the way it's gone, but it's been a holy and righteous adventure through and through. I hope this blog inspires you to recognize your own responsibility and calling to influence the Christian faith community to reflect God's love and wisdom to the world, for the world. Please email me at Timbalow@gmail.com if you have any questions or facebook me for some good social networking!
