Well since the last update I decided to become WBC's first Pastor of Local Impact, which is really pastor of local missions. I am thrilled with this new role and I am learning a lot about Jesus' attitudes towards the poor each day.

I have added two kids to my family, Jack and Shay since a month after the last update. Which is a big reason I have not blogged much. Currently I am still pastoring Ecclesia. I am also heading up our churches local impact ministry which deals with local compassions ministry but hopefully will involve a lot more soon.

I am the full time pastor of Ecclesia which is a worship community trying to live missionally in our community. Somehow I did not mention earlier that I have been married since 1998 to Laura and we have two dogs.

I am a man in transition. I am leaving junior high ministry behind. I have been asked to reach the emerging generation by my church. This blog represents my thoughts (and only my own) as I enter the converstation of how to best reach this emerging generation for Christ. I am certainly a neophyte in this area, but I look forward to reading and interacting with those who have a head start in this area, and are far smarterwiserthoughful than me.

I have been working with Junior Highers since 1992. Mostly full time at Evangelical Churches. Since 1998 I have been the junior high pastor at Wheaton Bible Church.

In 1991 I graduated from California State University, Chico with a BS in Recreation.
In 1998 I graduated from the Talbot School of Theology with an M.Div in Missions.
